New Family Pictures

It's been a long time since I last posted, and since I had time to check on everyone elses posts, hope you are all well!!! If anyone from DRMC is reading this I miss you guys so much...I never realized how much all of you felt like part of my family until we left. We've been gone from "home" for a long time and as time passes the more I realize DRMC will always be my home hospital!
That being said...these are our new family pictures that my sister Codie took. They turned out super cute!!! Thanks Codie, you do such a great job!!!

Quick Update

Here are some pictures of Daxon and our Family. They were taken by Codie, Maryjo's sister. These are some things that have happened since we last updated: We took a quick trip to St. George to show Dax to the Ford Fam. and Cousins. Maryjo returned to work, Teagan got a bike, and we celebrated the fourth of July

Welcome Baby Dax!!!

On May 15, 2009 at 12:45pm we welcomed our son Daxon Ben Ford into the world. He was 8.5 lbs and 21.25 inches long. His labor story isn't what we had planned but we are very grateful that he is here and healthy. He was almost two weeks over due so I was being monitored every three days to make sure he was ok. I went in for a check up and he had turned and was breech, but I had plenty of fluid so we were hopeful that he would turn again. We tried external version, were the Doctor trys to turn the baby from the outside but it was unsuccessful. Two days later I started have contractions every 6 minutes they were painful but I had an appointment the next morning (5/15) to have my fluid levels checked so I decided to wait as long as I could. I made it to my appointment still have contractions. They checked my fluid and it was less than half what was supposed to be there. So I was in labor with low fluid levels and a breech baby. Not an ideal situation for natural child birth. An hour later we were in the OR having a C-section. Daxon is very healthy and so cute. When he was first born his little face was very swollen from being smashed up against a contracting uterus, but now he looks almost identical to Teagan! Teagan is crazy about her baby! she loves to hold him.

When???

My favorite question to ask Teagan for the last 2 weeks has been: "when is baby brother going to come out?" her replys varied from tonight, to tomorrow, to I don't know. She would always pull up my shirt and say in a really sweet voice "come out baby." I asked her today when baby brother was going to come out and she said "never," she pulled up my shirt and patted my stomach, shook her head and said "never." Hopefully she is wrong, but I know exactly how she feels. I'm starting to feel like he is never going to come either....

We are making another appointment for her at primary childrens so hopefully soon we will have some idea what is going on. Sorry this is a boring post but i'll post pictures tomorrow!

Happy Anniversary!!!!

Adam and I have been married for 4 years!!! I love Adam so much and I'm so grateful for him. He is such a wonderful husband and I'm pretty sure the only person on the earth that could live with me forever. He pushes me to do better, to be kinder, and to live the gospel. I'm grateful for the strength he gives me, and all the help. Adam helps with the house cleaning and the dishes which most husbands don't do. He's always there to catch me when I fall. He is my best friend....I love you Adam!!!
