It's been a long time since I last posted, and since I had time to check on everyone elses posts, hope you are all well!!! If anyone from DRMC is reading this I miss you guys so much...I never realized how much all of you felt like part of my family until we left. We've been gone from "home" for a long time and as time passes the more I realize DRMC will always be my home hospital!
That being said...these are our new family pictures that my sister Codie took. They turned out super cute!!! Thanks Codie, you do such a great job!!!

These are some things that have happened since we last updated: We took a quick trip to St. George to show Dax to the Ford Fam. and Cousins. Maryjo returned to work, Teagan got a bike, and we celebrated the fourth of July

Welcome Baby Dax!!!
On May 15, 2009 at 12:45pm we welcomed our son Daxon Ben Ford into the world. He was 8.5 lbs and 21.25 inches long. His labor story isn't what we had planned but we are very grateful that he is here and healthy. He was almost two weeks over due so I was being monitored every three days to make sure he was ok. I went in for a check up and he had turned and was breech, but I had plenty of fluid so we were hopeful that he would turn again. We tried external version, were the Doctor trys to turn the baby from the outside but it was unsuccessful. Two days later I started have contractions every 6 minutes they were painful but I had an appointment the next morning (5/15) to have my fluid levels checked so I decided to wait as long as I could. I made it to my appointment still have contractions. They checked my fluid and it was less than half what was supposed to be there. So I was in labor with low fluid levels and a breech baby. Not an ideal situation for natural child birth. An hour later we were in the OR having a C-section. Daxon is very healthy and so cute. When he was first born his little face was very swollen from being smashed up against a contracting uterus, but now he looks almost identical to Teagan! Teagan is crazy about her baby! she loves to hold him.

When???
My favorite question to ask Teagan for the last 2 weeks has been: "when is baby brother going to come out?" her replys varied from tonight, to tomorrow, to I don't know. She would always pull up my shirt and say in a really sweet voice "come out baby." I asked her today when baby brother was going to come out and she said "never," she pulled up my shirt and patted my stomach, shook her head and said "never." Hopefully she is wrong, but I know exactly how she feels. I'm starting to feel like he is never going to come either....

Teagan's rash is gone, but the low grade fever remains...she has had a fever for awhile now. We aren't sure whats going on with her. We are making another appointment for her at primary childrens so hopefully soon we will have some idea what is going on. Sorry this is a boring post but i'll post pictures tomorrow!

Happy Anniversary!!!!
Adam and I have been married for 4 years!!! I love Adam so much and I'm so grateful for him. He is such a wonderful husband and I'm pretty sure the only person on the earth that could live with me forever. He pushes me to do better, to be kinder, and to live the gospel. I'm grateful for the strength he gives me, and all the help. Adam helps with the house cleaning and the dishes which most husbands don't do. He's always there to catch me when I fall. He is my best friend....I love you Adam!!!

Poor Little Teagan!!!
So I took Teagan to Primary Children's again to get the new swollen lymph nodes checked and her doctor put her on Augmenten, just to see if she had another infection that was causing her lymph nodes to swell...that was ten days ago. This morning when Teagan woke up she was covered with a red rash! From her hair to the soles of her feet. I called her Doctor (who is wonderful) and he said it could be two things, an allergic reaction to the amoxicillin in the augmenten, or she has edb infection. So we've taken her off the antibiotic and are waiting til Monday to see what happens!

More MAC???
So I've been watching Teagan's neck and leg very closely since her surgery...and there have been a few lympnodes on her neck that concerned me. But she had a runny nose and so I was very hopeful that the lymphnodes were swollen because she was fighting off a cold. I waited and watched for a month and a half. They are now much larger and her runny nose is gone. So I called her Infectious Disease Doctor and made an appointment. We are not sure what this flare up will bring as far as treatment plans, but we will keep posting!

30 weeks pregnant!!
Binki Free
Drum roll!!! We finally got rid of Teagan's Binki. We have been thinking about it for a long time but we kept putting it off because of her surgeries, then we put it off because we were moving, and again while we were potty training. So the other day I just decided that it was now or never. Teagan has had to sleep with us because we are remodeling her room, replacing the ceiling, retexturing the walls, and re-flooring. So since she is already sleeping with us I thought it would be easier for her if we "lost" the binki now. She has adjusted very well, I can't believe how grown up she is.
So on Valentine's Day we made cream filled cup cakes. They were soooo good! Teagan helped by licking the beaters, and Adam and Josh taste tested. They turned out very well.

Busy day
So yesterday was Adam's day off. So I made a large list of things I wanted to get done and we did them...I think Adam was glad to go back to work today! He actually started to complain about having to work on his day off, and I just asked him when my day off was going to come! Guys are such wimps, when does a stay at home mom ever get a day off??? When do we get to not fix breakfast, lunch, and dinner, clean/pickup a million toys, take care of our kids, plus the dishes, and the other house work??? So we moved all the furniture and vacuumed and mopped everywhere, rearranged the TV/DVD/surround Sound wires. Cleaned the bathroom on our hands and knees, scrubbed the walls, made whole wheat bread, and wheat muffins. Then we took down the suspended ceiling in the nursery. It looks like we might have to remove the wall paper from the nursery walls as well as the ceiling, which will really suck because the wall paper has been painted over. But we have at least 13 weeks to get it done which should be plenty of time. Saturday we are going to take the paper off the ceiling and maybe the walls, I'm very excited! These are just a few pictures of Teagan I thought were cute. The first few are of her Sunday nap, then the rest are her cute hair!

Obsessed!!!
I have become completely obsessed with not gaining weight this pregnancy...I'm totally crazy about it. I workout everyday for 45 minutes plus doing prenatal yoga, and I log everything I eat into babyfit.com (which is the coolest site ever for expecting moms) But I cant stop thinking about how hard it was to lose the weight I gained with Teagan, and I am very scared that I may end up gaining more with this baby, because everyone says you gain more with each pregnancy! Any advice??? Anything, like inspiring stories, or just something to take my mind off this would be great!!!
On the lighter side, I can't believe that it's already the end of January 2009! Where did the time go? I can't believe how fast it goes by. And it has been really warm up here for January! I've decided to start doing crafts, I don't very often because I don't ever think about it but if anyone has anything they've done recently that would be fun let me know!!

Pregnant Picture 25 weeks
Well this is my 25 week picture, only 15 weeks left!!! So we are pretty excited, we've started to work on the nursery. We have to take down the suspended ceiling and steam off the pick shiny wall paper that is on the ceiling, then we will texture and paint...so hopefully it won't take very long and we'll be able to paint and decorate soon!!!! We are getting our decor from IKEA (I LOVE IKEA!!!!) and since we only have one room for both our kids, we are doing a European style nursery, which is just unisex. It is super cute I'll post pictures as soon as we've finished!
